Zopicon 7.5mg (Zopiclone Tablets)

Zopicon 7.5mg Tablet is intended to treat insomnia in the short term. It shortens the time it takes to fall asleep and decreases nighttime awakenings. This medication enhances sleep maintenance and hence provides restful sleep.

Because of its strong habit-forming potential, the tablet should never be used for long-term treatment of insomnia. It should be taken on an empty stomach, ideally right before bedtime.

It is recommended, however, to take it at the same time each day in order to keep a stable amount of medication in the body. Because this medication is habit-forming, take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

This medication may cause a little bitter or metallic taste on your tongue, dry mouth, and drowsiness or sleepiness. These are normally only transient and will go away on their own after a while. If these concern you or do not go away, see your doctor.
